I haven't done much in the way of art for ages due to the volume of work on my Uni course. This is one of the few examples of inspiration from doing coursework. May I present... Chester, the Androgynous Dog!
Think of him as a Saturday-morning cartoon character who got bored of colourful matte-backgrounds and moralistic preaching of western family ideals, and decided to chase up alternative culture in his spare time. Instead of being bouncy and overanimated, delivering painfully-written dialogue to children worldwide, Chester is pretentious, psuedo-poetic and frequently adorned with dark make-up.
He's supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, in case anyone was wondering. Unfortunately, Chester still sports a rather bland T-shirt and shorts get-up in my University assignment animated sequences. Maybe next time I should have him like this? Hehehehe.
