"Bert Raccoon... fan-art inspiration extraordinaire!"

The Raccoons is one of my all time favourite cartoons ever, if not my favourite. Everything about it I like, the characters, the scripts, the art, and especially the music.... big up to Kevin Gillis and the rest of the crew for producing such a fine series. I can't believe it's been 18 years since it was first aired!

Why it's taken me so long to come up with fan art for one of my main interests I don't know. But here's the first (hopefully of many) drawing I've ever done of Bert Raccoon. This was done in December last year, but I needed to put a background on it, and I finally did that today. *grins*

Hmmm, now i'm getting an urge for peanut butter waffles....

EEP! I remember watching that show when I was little!^O^ From what I remember the theme tune scared me...no wait ti made me cry.^^; I dunno why, probably becuase I'm just scared of anything and everything. Still why did the pigs have to be the bad guys? Why not the raccoons? It's my mission, if I choose to accept it, to make the pigs the cool good guys and have evil, machine gun carrying bunnies as the bad guys. That was my dad's idea and a good one at that, lol! Top job that man (meaning you) on the pic. I wanna see more though.... more.... MORE!!! Lol! We're like hungry beasts.

i compleately loved that cartoon when i was younger and this is the very first peice of fanart i've seen of it so far.

good picture, i always thought their designs were alittle odd to draw, but you've drawn him well. ^^

OMG. Someone else remembers the Raccoons! I LOVE YOUUUUU! (No, not in that way, hee). I remember watching that show when I was still a brat in diapers (Now I'm just a potty trained brat). I don't really remember much of the show now... I remember most of the characters and stuff, but I can't really remember their names or much of the story. All I really remember is I was a really big fan of the show ;_; I STILL REMEMBER THE THEME SONG THO!

I wish that show was still airing @_@

Big up respect for The Racoons - is the best cartoon in existance. My favourite characters are the Pigs, I love their voices and antics. For those wanting the incredible music in their 'lists - go here [link] and [link]
