I have a background in 2D animation, comic illustration, digital art and computer games design. Currently completing a BA in Creative Computer Game Design in Swansea Metropolitan University, graduating in 2010. I also have a degree in Computer Animation from Teesside University.

I am a lover of retro games consoles and an advocate of underground electronic music.

I work part-time for a small independednt game studio in South Wales and after I complete my university course I hope to develop my career in the Games industry as a concept artist.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (This will probably be my journal entry until next June)!

On this year's Christmas List, among other things that are aimed at people decidedly younger than me, are Sonic 4 and the Back To The Future game! BTTF is already installed on my Steam account and it's taking a LOT of willpower not to have a peek. Makes me think of Christmas past, where the anticipation was much higher than it is now that I'm (apparently) grown up.

I might ask for a boxed Mega-CD next year and re-enact Christmas 1993. Even though my original is STILL alive and well. 17 years old and fully operational... Microsoft, please take note

From one Rich to another - it's been a WHILE.

Last time we spoke, Pete's PS2 was still cutting-edge, haha. Good to see you're still being creative - more than I've been lately, gonna try picking that up again in the new year (Amethyst in 3D, possibly - maybe also some quick tests in the Unreal engine if I have the motivation). What've you been up to all this time? And do you still talk to Dez?

Hi Rich, it's been a while eh! Tempus Fugit as they say! So you've gone and done another degree, who'd have thought - an HND and 1 degree was enough for me. Did you get a two one last time - here's to the same or better this time!

The strange thing is I used to check your deviantART pages every so often but hadn't checked for over a year at least - until my spidey sense told me to check today.

When you started posting again I had a week to go until my first driving test, which I'm glad to say I passed. Your most recent post was just after my birthday - which to me are some Lost-like coincidences!

The plan now is to win the lottery tonight and set up an animation company because there's been no luck yet on the career front. So do you want a job tomorrow - i'll let you know after I win!

Did you pass your test last year? I don't know why but I thought you'd been driving for years. I passed mine in 2007, one more thing off the to-do list (like getting a degree... hang on a sec, done that twice now). Still don't have a car! What're you doing these days apart from trying to win the lottery? It's been a long time, man. Hope all is well.
